Different users on the same phone on SIP-T27G - econnet - 12-27-2018 03:17 PM Hello is it possible to setup the SIP-T27G to be registered as Extension 101 during the morning and EXT 102 in the afternoon? the purpose is to have one desk where two different persons are working, each person can enable his own SIP account entering a sort of password on the SIP phone.... Hope my explanation is clear enough Thanks! What exactly on the PBX is needed to support Yealink phone hotdesking? Pretty sure it'll work with any system, just follow the setup instructions in the manual. If I recall right, once you configure it you basically get a login/logout button on the phone, and when you press it the phone will erase the SIP account credentials and prompt you for a new extension/password. The new users fills that info in directly on the phone and then that is what gets registered for use until logged out again. Alternatively if you know your way around some scripting you could do this with PushXML configurations, but the hotdesk feature is probably a little simpler to implement (less work on your part, slightly more effort on the users side). |
