We are having a hard time getting T54S for installs (back-order after back-order). One vendor said these are being discontinued; is this true? They have only been out for what...one year?

the 54s is NOT listed in the firmware download page -
T54S(T52S)-70.84.0.10.rom seems to be the last firmware
so I'm guessing it's End OF Life

T52S and T54S are being replaced by T53, T53W, T54W and T57W. Check the support page, models just got added. This is similar to what happened with the 46/48 when then moved from G to S lines, small hardware changes but new models and incompatible firmware. So I expect 52S/54S were not selling well enough and are going to be maintenance only support from now on.
I am not a Yealink employee though so that is just my opinion based on past experience.
