W56H Wishlist - FredyWenger - 10-26-2018 03:56 PM

We actually use Gigaset VoIP DECT phones - the config is really great including windows client to access the mobile over USB and upload own .wav ringtones.
The ringtones than can be configured to the sip accounts (if an incoming call to account 1 is coming, play ringtone A, if to account 2 play ringtone B).
This all work as ist should... the only (but important) thing is, that support for OPUS is missing...
Therefore we have bought a W60B with two W56H.
I no had to note, that it seems not to be possible to upload own ringtones Angry although the "wired" models, link the T46S (that we also use) support it fully.
We use the T47S in parallel to the DECT and want to use the same (custom) ringtone for one of the lines.
Please add as sonn as possible the ability to uploade own ringtones (.wav) to the W60B /W56H.

Question:
- Is there really now way (some "hack") to load an own ringtone?

Thanks for a feedback
Fredy

Hi,

Only to answer your question...
It have no use to download your own ringtone into the DECT set because the 9 available ringer melodies are stored in the handset and can not be overruled by other ones.
So, there is no "hack" or other way to load you own ringtone.
It's by design.

About your wish, its up to Yealink R&D

Hope this will help.

Only to answer your posting:
I did not think that via 3cx a ringing tone can be loaded, so I posted this here in the Yealink forum ;-)
But thanks anyway Cool

An answer from Yealink here would be nice...
