T46S/Vonage BLF - igendreau - 06-06-2018 01:58 PM Anyone have any experience with the T46S on Vonage's Business platform. Here are the two choices for BLF: Configure Line Appearance on Vonage's Portal You basically login to the Vonage Portal, click on an extension, and pick which extensions you want listed on that phone's BLF List. Pros: Presence on the T46S works without issue. Cons: It forces the BLFs into buttons 3 through however many you have. Meaning, if you want to program a couple standard buttons like Call Park/Retrieve Park, they get bumped AFTER the BLFs, so potentially on screen 2 or 3. You also have no control over the button label. And editing the BLFs in the portal erases all user-programmed speed dials when it pushes down to the T46S. Also, an admin has to program this. Users can't do it themselves. Configure the BLFs on the T46S Either manually enter BLFs on the handset, or login to the phone's web portal and enter them there. Pros: You can program them in any spot you want. Users can program their own BLFs. Button labels are customizable. Cons: Some days presence shows correctly. Some days it doesn't. Yesterday presence on my phone worked great. Today, they're all green, all the time. 2nd option seems like a much better choice, if we could get presence to work consistently. If anyone has any tips on how to do that, I'm all ears. Thanks! |
