Headset button keeps disabling itself after upgrade to FW 28.83.0.30 - chrischevy - 06-01-2018 12:43 PM

Since we updated our phone to FW 28.83.0.30, the headset button keeps disabling itself randomly. Before that, once the button was on (green), it stayed that way. After the update, it started disabling itself randomly.

It happens on 46G, 46S and 42S

I am having this problem as well with Yealink t42G phones. Were you able to find a fix?

Could you please tell us which headset model you use?

As we didn’t do compatibility test with all headsets, we can’t confirm that Yealink phone can work perfectly with these headsets.

We recommend that you use the headset Yealink have tested, attached is the newest “Yealink Compatible headset list” for your reference.

We use the Yealink Headset YHS32 so I assume they are supported. The problem is related to the latest firmware not the headset model. They worked perfectly until FW 29.83.0.20 was installed.
