I have T27Gs that all behave the same on the latest rom (T27G-69.83.0.10.rom)
I have the backlight timeout set to 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, the backlight turns off. However, after several seconds the backlight turns on again...for no reason. After 15 seconds, the backlight turns off again. This repeats. Very annoying.
Any thoughts?

Hi,
Please reset the phone(s) to factory default, re-provisioning and test again.
Also make sure no devices are connected to the phones (PC port), only a connection to the LAN and please make use of an external power supply, do not use PoE.

We need the config.bin and syslog on level 6 to find out the reason, would you please follow this FAQ to catch the issue and then send us the requested files?

I just upgraded the T27G and the T27P phones and both types are doing the display turning on by itself periodically...and it is annoying. The phones are connected to the Yeastar S20.[attachment=5019]

Dear Customer,
Please apply below configuration to your phone by auto provisioning,
features.blf_active_backlight.enable=0
In V83 this issue is caused by backgroup BLF activitities.
