Change admin password by using Device Management Platform 1.0.0.25 - Bertin - 03-01-2018 07:47 AM
Hi,
I figured out how to push CFG blocks to groups of T48S Skype for Business phones, but there is no option to reset the admin password. I only have 3 options:
- Rename "Admin" account
- Rename "User" account
- Change "User" password
I now that by using .cfg files and provisioning these to the phones by ftp, i was able to change the admin password, but in the Device Management Platform, this function is not available. Is there another way to provision the phones with a new Admin password by using this tool?
PS: Maybe it is better to make a new tab in the Support pages for this Device Management Platform, cause it does a lot more than autoprovisioning and i think there will be a lot of questions about it in the future.

Please try to change the PW format to admin:xxxx or user: xxxx, it work well in my side.

Hi,
This works fine. I didn't know that you had to specify the username in this field. Is it possible to change both user and admin password in one line (by using comma)?

Click on Admin tab from the top menu and select Global Settings, present under User Administration. Click on the ellipsis icon under Actions, present against the user, whose password is to be reset and select Change Password, from the dropdown itunes login.
