Time & date always reset after rebooting. - H3nry - 11-23-2017 05:26 AM

Hello,

I have issues with T42S using SfB firmware 66.9.0.25.

Everytime I reboot the device, the clock always go back to 30 Sept 2017 00:00.

I have experiment the following
1. DHCP on, NTP high, Manual disabled
2. DHCP on, NTP high, Manual enabled
3. DHCP off, NTP low, Manual disabled
4. DHCP off, NTP low, Manual enabled

Supposedly if Manual time is enabled, the phone should retain it's setting right ?

I don't have the issue when originally running T42S standard firmware 66.81.0.70. Meaning the phone can get the correct time either via DHCP or via NTP server.

On other brand IP phone (Polycom VVX), they have no issue getting from NTP server.

Any ideas ?

Dear Customer,

For your problem, it seems a bug, please provide the level 6 syslog, config, bin and pace trace when you reproduce the issue for us to debug.
Just keep the configuration as the T42S standard firmware 66.81.0.70 will be OK.

As the phone will reboot, please export the syslog to the server side, refer to the situation 2 of the FAQ:
http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=313

Please note to configure the Global log Level as 6 before test.

Besides, may I know how many phones you have intal? And how many of them have the issue?

Lucia
