T48S Settings - Gianb - 10-18-2017 02:48 PM

I have downloaded the most recent SFB Firmware 66.9.0.25 for the T48S and am still having issues with the phone retaining it's settings. The Powersaving mode will not stay disabled, the Time constantly reverts back to 24 hour mode and the phone lock resets to 10 minutes. When I change the settings they may last a few hours and then they all reset. I really do not feel I should have to reprogram a new phone to save it's settings on a daily basis.

Hello,

For this issue, I suggest you contact your server provider, check if there anything configuration in server side, so that phone will sync the settings from the server side.

If you can not figure out from server side, please export the level 6 log to server side, then we will do a further analyze. please download the guide from below link:

Klaus,

This is not a Microsoft SFB Server Side Issue. All this happened after the latest Firmware upgrade. How can the Server change the Power Saver and Lock Time settings on the phone every 8 hours? The phone is not retaining it's configuration, it simply resets any changes made after a certain amount of time. Also 3CDaemon is no longer available, I can find the downloads but it does not install, is there another program to use?

Thank you,
Gian

If you set configuration in server side as well, phone will sync server configuration wiht period time, so it will change, so that I suggest you check your server configuration firstly.

you can download 3CD from internet, then try to get the level 6 log.

I have the same issue with my T48S on O365.
Every day, I need to readjust BToE and phone lock.

Is there any solution to that?

These settings can easily be changed on 0365 SFB but running the following command

PS C:\Users\RMonz> Get-CsIPPhonePolicy

Identity : Global
UserDialTimeoutMS : 5000
KeyboardLockMaxPinRetry : 5
PrioritizedCodecsList : G722_8000;PCMU;PCMA;G729;G722_8000
EnablePowerSaveMode : False
PowerSaveDuringOfficeHoursTimeoutMS : 900000
PowerSavePostOfficeHoursTimeoutMS : 300000
EnableOneTouchVoicemail : True
DateTimeFormat : 12
EnableDeviceUpdate : True
EnableExchangeCalendaring : True
EnableBetterTogetherOverEthernet : True
BetterTogetherOverEthernetPairingMode : Auto
LocalProvisioningServerUser : PlcmSpIp
LocalProvisioningServerPassword :
LocalProvisioningServerAddress :
LocalProvisioningServerType : FTP

In order to connect into o365 through powershell you need to run the following commands:

Import-Module SkypeOnlineConnector <---this requires the powershell addon for Online Skype connector and can be found through some google searches
$cred = Get-Credential <---this will prompts for an admin credential to store is as a variable, make sure @domain.com is in the account)
$session = New-CsOnlineSession -Credential $cred -Verbose
Import-PSSession $session
