T58V - T58A Email and Calendar native apps - RetailAid Business Solutions_Support - 09-19-2017 03:38 PM

Hello all,

I was able to configure an email account in the phone native email app, it only works as IMAP, I was hoping that it would sync the calendar app also, but it does not work.

How can I configure the calendar app in this phone?

Also, how can I delete the an email account from the email app, there is not a delete button, and I don't really want to keep my email in this demo phone

Dear Customer,
This is Paul from Yealink Technical Support Team, nice to meet you.
(1)About the email account, we can login in with Exchange account and sync the meeting in the calendar APP, like Attached picture.
(2)About how to delete the email account from the email app, we didn't support it now, we will add it in the feature firmware.
Now you can delete your email account via resetting the phone to factory.

Paul

Hello Paul,

Thanks for your reply, I found that you can DELETE the email account from: SETTINGS -> BASIC -> APP Accounts and select Delete Account.

In regards of the EMAIL/CALENDAR SYNCHRONIZATION, is it possible to use a GMAIL account, honestly not many of my customers use EXCHANGE, but most of them use GMAIL APPS as their main email/calendar service, it would be very useful and a great selling point the ability to have email/calendar synced.

Dear Customer,
It's a pity that the EMAIL/CALENDAR SYNCHRONIZATION only support
Exchange mode, so it can support Gmail account.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello Paul,

I added my exchange account and selected the contact sync as per your image. Contacts are not being synced. I am using the last ROM version on my phone.
How can I get my contacts to sync?
