I'm sorry we can't do more troubleshooting without syslog(level 6) and PCAP files.

After set the IPV6 configuration, the phone will reboot. After reboot, please go to settings->configuration to enable syslog level as 6 and start PCAP feature, you can push the phone to register.

Then you can reproduce the issue and export all files to me.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Kevin,

The syslog files were included in the zip file I emailed you - inside the two different folders. Did you not see these or was there something wrong with them?

The phone only seems to generate blank pcap files when following your instructions below. Is this a known issue with the T58?

Thanks,
Reuben

Hi Reuben

The PCAP file is empty, the syslog file don't have SIP processing information. So it can't help us to do more troubleshooting.

I test in my side, T58V don't have any issue with capturing. So please set syslog level as 6, and start PCAP feature.

After that ,you can register again. It should work and export all files to me.
If you can connect your PC to PC port and enable 'span to PC' feature, you can capture PCAP on your PC.

Can you tell me how many phones will you need after testing.

BR
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

The pcap doesn't work at all for me on this phone - see screenshot below. If I select 'Start' and leave it for say 30s and then stop, and then click on Export I get a .pcap file with no content.

I will try and set up a span port in the next day or so and get a packet capture some other way.

Did you see in the log files when the phone boots up how the SIP application states that it has no connectivity when it in fact does?

Reuben

At this stage I am only working with 4 of these phones.

Hi Kevin,

Can you please give me an update on this request? I haven't heard anything for 2 weeks now. This is an easily reproducible problem so I would hope the R&D engineers should have been able to easily reproduce this by now?

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,
Reuben

Dear Reuben

Yes, we already reproduce it in our side, our T58V is new product and R&D want to re-designed the firmware logic to fix this isuse.
So it may delay.

I will check internal and keep you update.
