Alter certain incoming numbers - SFA1492 - 05-18-2017 10:36 AM

Hello,

I support some smaller PBX environments where the dial out is automatic, meaning the users don't have to press an access code to get an external line. To make an internal call the users have to press "*" and then the number of the extension. That results in the display of "*21" on the phone if the extension 21 is calling me.
In such cases I can't use Forward Emergency and/or DND Emergency since I would have to set e.g. "*21" as an authorized number but the fields for those numbers don't accept the "*".
Is it possible to configure the phone to remove the "*" for further processing?

Best regards,
Sascha

Hello,

Sorry, we can’t configure it on the phone. Because it is the server’s feature, so please contact the service provider to modify the dial rule to remove *.

Best regards
Andrew
