T40P DSS Deal Type? - GIWM - 03-28-2017 08:13 PM

I am setting up some T40P units and in my provisioning template set:

transfer.dsskey_deal_type = 0

However, the T40P units don't seem to take this setting. Firmware is 54.81.0.60. I can change it in the web interface and it works just fine.

Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

transfer.dsskey_deal_type = 0 worked fine on my T48G.
Have you exported your config file just to check that Yealink didn't have a spelling issue in the programming... never know.

It worked fine on my T46G as well. Just not the T40P.

When I did the export settings on the T40P, there's no dss anywhere to be found. In fact, there are only two transfer. settings.

Perhaps I need to make a feature request? Though nothing indicates it SHOULDN'T work.

Sounds like a bug, especially if it works properly from the web interface without issue. Unfortunately I don't have a T40 here to test and confirm but it's probably worth submitting a request to Yealink support to have them check it.

That firmware does indeed fix the bug. Thank you for getting this fixed for us!
