T42G and iphone client - DomBlom - 03-16-2017 03:46 PM

Question: is it possible to take a call (internal or external) on a handset, say a Yealink T42G with the internal phone number of e.g. 1020, then transfer it to an iPhone with a 3cx client, on the same 1020 phone number. (very useful if at my desk but need to leave the office to complete the call.) I tried it using transfer and the transfer call went straight to voicemail while the main call was on hold.
Many thanks

Sure ... In 3cx make sure you have "can accept multiple calls" checked in the forwarding rules of the extension.

Thanks Jason.
Is that something we can do client side or we will have to ask our system provider to change in the system configuration?

In the 3cx for Windows/Mac soft client it is under the Forwarding Setup.
