Display turns on everytime a blf blinks - vela - 02-17-2017 07:37 AM

Hi

I have a t27P running the latest firmware (T27-45.81.0.25).
Every time a colleague receives a call and BLFs starts blinking my screen turns on.
Is there a way to disable this?

Thanks

Hi,

I guess maybe you enable the power saving feature.
Please try to disable it then test again.
You can make setting under path: web interface->settings->power saving.

My extension is 219 and, as you can see in the video, when another extension on my blf list is called (and starts blinking) the backlight turns on

Thank you.
I know the problem scenario, but I have to feel sorry that there is no way to configure.

I have just begun experiencing the very same issue today. I upgraded the firmware on 2 T27P's from 45.80.0.130 to 45.81.0.25 and a T21P-E2 from 52.80.0.130 to 52.81.0.25.

This was not an issue in x.80.0.130. For every button programmed as a BLF, if the BLF assigned extension receives a call, the display on all sets with that extension configured as a BLF button is activated.

This will be especially annoying for our reception users, who will have upward of 50 BLF assigned buttons.

May be this thread is able to solve the problem:

This is not quite the same problem. The BLF button LED's are not all activating at the same time for us, only the display is activating and the single BLF button.

i downgraded to .80.0.130. I'll stick with this version for now since this issue is very annoying
