MWI doesnt work - q - 12-07-2016 12:55 PM
Hello !
I´m operating a T48G as VOIP-Phone at a fritzbox 7390.
The Voicemailbox is installed at the Fritzbox under **600.
This works fine.
But if there is a new voice message in the fritzbox-VoiceMailbox, the phone
doesn´t shwo this. No flashing LED at the phone.
I tried several combinations in the settimgs, but it won´t work.
What do i have to configure how in order to get a flashing LED at the T48G
if there is a new voicemessage in the Fritzbox ?

Hi Martin,
did you try it out with the parameters shown in my pictures I did post in the german ip-phone-forum in the thread within you asked there? At my T46G, it is working fine with Fritzbox 7490.

The only "idea", that the FB7490 is able to send MWI to the phone and the FB7390 and the FB6490 are not able to do so. But I do not believe in this idea, I think it MUST work on the 7390 and the other FBs too. So I think you have set one or some parameters different then I did on my FB or on my T46G.

No, parameters are equal.
Seems as if FB 7390 cant´t send MWI to the Phone. But i don´t believe this.
AVM Germany told me this morning , that the MWI Feature is not available for IP-Phones connectet to the Fritzbox.
You can check this under "Telephony Devices" , "Settings of the phone device".
If there is no Option "MWI" than the Fritzbox doesn´t support this Feature for the IP-Phone you connectet.
So I´m confused abot that your´s doing.

About your problem, please go to the phone web ui and refer to the attachment to configure the two parameters.

If the issue still exist, please kindly provide the level 6 syslog, config.bin and pace trace when you reproduce the issue to do further analysis.

i produced the "allconfig.tar. file now by make a call an speech to the voicemailbox.
Where should i send the file ?

Hello,
accidental i inserted "**600@fritz.box" instead of "**600" in the field VOICE MAIL .
What should i say, now it works fine.
Phone displays missed calls and amount of messages at the fritz box.
All other settings like Lucia wrote.

Hello again,
now i´m completely confused.
Dont know what happend but the feature doesn´t work again.
If there is a new voicemail at the Fritzbox the Phone doesnt show it.
Please tell me what i shoulddo so that you can tell me what is going wrong.
Phone is T48G and Fritzbox 7390
