T48G Ringback Tone - austinh - 11-22-2016 09:41 PM

I have recently upgraded my t48g to 35.81.0.15. Now when I make a call the ringback tone is ring, ring and then two beeps and then silence until the called party answers. How can I change the ringback tone to be similar to a standard telephone where all you hear is ringing?

First, please try to change the setting “180 Ring Workaroun". You can find it in Web-->General Information.

If it can't solve your issue, please provide the pcap trace. About how to get it, please refer to http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=313.

I have not done a pcap yet, but I did want to add that this only happens when I have the line I am calling set as a BLF button and am monitoring that line with Sip Attendant Console. I believe the phone is alerting me that the line assigned to the BLF is receiving a call. I do have the audio alert for BLF pickup disabled.

I've checked internally and find it's a confirmed bug. Please click http://ftp.yealink.com/?ShareToken=CBDCFDDCE2ABCB3CCD4ADEA24F32433EADD37114 to download 35.81.0.25. This firmware fixed this bug.

This bug also exists in the T46G. It is still there as of the most recent firmware I can find which is 28.81.0.27.
