So we have a T42G which is starting to dial from the 6th digit on after about 1 second, and of course it's saying the call cannot be completed or some similar error message.

The interdigit timeout is set at 4 seconds but it's happening way before 4 seconds is up.
It seems to only be happening on mobile phone numbers, which always start in 02.
There there another setting somewhere causing this?

My dial plans are as follows if this helps. (For New Zealand)

0[3,4,6,7,9]xxxxxxx - Calls within New Zealand.

[0800,0508]xxxxxx - Calls to toll free numbers.

02[0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9]xxxxxx - 9 digit mobile calls.

02[0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9]xxxxxxx - 10 digit mobile calls.

02[0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9]xxxxxxxx - 11 digit mobile calls.

2x, for calling extensions.

Hi ,
Do you mean the scenario is like below,
configure the time out with 4 seconds .
the user want to dial out the 02348655, then the phone dail 023458( takes about 1 second) ,the phone will dail out imediately?

Would you please upgrade to the latest version ? you can download it from below link,

and if the issue still exists on the latest version , please share us config.bin file, pcap trace,and level 6 syslog that we can try to check in our side .

Yes thats more or less what is happening. I actually took a short video of what is happening. I've uploaded it to youtube.

Sorry I know it's not the best quality.

The error message that plays is something along the lines of "your call cannot be completed".
And as you can see it tries dialling out on the 6th digit.

Also, the phone is running the latest firmware as of the end of last week (which is when I set it up).

Just an update, it seems it's not just mobile phone numbers, but rather all calls as soon as it reaches the 6th or 7th digit. However, if dialing using international codes in front of the number, (eg. +64 211 instead of just 0211) it seems to work.

I can't get a pcap easily from this phone as it's at another business.

If I have to that's fine, but is there a temporary solution to this in the meantime? Maybe just disabling the dial plans? Because at the moment the phone is almost useless as it won't make calls unless dialing them a specific way.
