I have a client that has a problem seeing the phone (T42) when it's sitting idle. I have tried increasing the idle via the config file with no luck. I also looked in the web interface of the phone and didn't find any thing there to adjust the setting. I have even upgraded the the latest firmware and still can't see a way to adjust the idle backlight settings.
Is this option ever going to be available to adjust in the 4 series phones?

Hi,
There is no an option to adjust the backlight in idle status.
I think you can set the backlight time to "always on" to solve the issue.
