srtp - limet to 2 codecs - Andrea La Mattina - 06-18-2015 08:49 PM

HI,

we've activated srtp.
we note that in the SIP invite there are three srtp codecs.
Is it possible send only two or one srtp codecs in the SIP invite.

Avaya Aura Session Manager (proxy sip) accepts a maximun of two srtp codecs in the SIP invite.

Hi Andrea,

Do you mean the code PCMU/PCMA/G722/G729?
If yes, they can be disabled under codec interface.

Regards,
James

Hi James,

Thanks fo response.

My problem is the srtp encryption, example in the SIP invite, i've three
1-srtp-aescm128-hmac80
2-srtp-aescm128-hmac32
3-srtp-aes*

my system SIP Proxy (Avaya Aura Session Manager) accept a maximun of two srtp.

is it possible about yealink W52P send maxium two srtp on invite ?

Thanks

You can configure the encryption method through autoprovision.

account.1.srtp_auth_tag_mode =

0- all encryption method
1- AES-80
2- AES-32

James

This is a non-documented command line in the Yealink_W52P_IP_DECT_Phones_Auto_Provisioning_Guide_V73_27.pdf document, isn’t it?
