T48G / Import & sync google contacts - Urbany - 06-11-2015 01:06 AM

Hello,

is there a way to import and sync google contacts with the T48G?

If not directly, maybe there is a workaround?

Sorry, Yealink phone can't sync with google contact.
You can create the contact list with below tool .

Best Regards!

Did not work in my MS Word 2013. I got the 419 Visual Basic for Applications error, denying access to some unnamed object.

I read on Whirlpool that it should now be possible to download and sync Google Contacts on the SIP-T48G with the latest firmware. However, I haven't found any corroboration of this interesting comment anywhere. Is this just fake news or is there some truth to it?

That was added in Version 84 Firmware released last September. Unfortunately it does not apply to T48G. You need T19-E2, T21-E2, T23G, T27G, T40P, T40G, T41S, T42S, T46S, T48S, T52S, T54S, CP920

Since T48G is EOL I would not hold my breathe waiting for a version of this firmware to be released for it unfortunately.

OK, thanks for your reply. I didn't realise the T48G was already EOL. Still a fantastic phone, though.

They did a chipset/hardware upgrade to the T4X line back about a year and half now, and that's when the G models were phased out in favour of the newer S ones. Phones are still basically the same just upgraded internal "guts" so to speak. I agree with you though, Yealink has always made quality hardware so there's no reason to dump/replace unless you absolutely need a new feature (personally I still have a T28 from about 8 years ago on my desk as my primary phone simply because it works so well and I've never had an issue!)

In my testing, the T42 appears to support Google Contacts but only for "Search Source List In Dialing" (where you start dialing and it suggests the number to dial)
