Adjusting headset microphone volume - cocaccro - 04-23-2015 01:48 AM Hello, I am using a SIP-T20 phone with a Yealink handsfree headset. The microphone is extremely weak, and often I have people ask me to repeat things or speak up. Sometimes when I am leaving voicemails (holding the microphone right next to my mouth), the machine cuts me off as it doesn't hear me. So I have to append to my messages, which makes for awkward and unprofessional communication. I have been looking at some threads on this site about how to increase the microphone volume, but all this talk of auto provisioning, etc. has my head spinning. Could someone please walk me through what I need to do to increase the volume of the headset? What program should I download to do the tftp thing (if that needs to be done), and what exactly needs to be done each step along the way? Thanks very much, in advance. RE: Adjusting headset microphone volume - James_Yealink - 04-23-2015 03:26 AM 1. Press ok button then scroll down to check your ip address. 2. Input the ip address into your internet browser like IE. 3. You can see an interface requesting phone credential, input admin/admin to get into phone web interface. I have accessed the login page but, when I enter admin for both the username and password, I get: "The username or password is error!" Is there a way to reset the login credentials? RE: Adjusting headset microphone volume - James_Yealink - 04-23-2015 04:35 AM Please check the credential with your administrator or the person who sell your phone/service firstly. Long press OK button will reset phone, but you will need to configure it from scratch. If you are not familiar with it we recommend finding back the credential firstly. Regards, James |
