Hello,
I have a T29G unit and i have attached an EXP38.
I can configure the device from the web interface and set the dss keys of the expansion module but the blf function doesn't work.
When someone from the office makes a call the lamp doesn't change to red and if i press the button i cannot call the specific extension.
I have setup value the extension number and extension the extension number again.

Hi Alx,
Currently T27/T29 only support EXP39. So your EXP38 can't be used.
EXP38 will be supported in T27/T29 in a later version which might be available in June.

This is just bad rep for Yealink, in the product description of EXP38 you say that the device supports the T29G

The client bought this phone and this expansion module based on this info that you give officialy through your site.
When you say that you support a device you support it from the start, if not you mention that it will be supported in the future.
How can someone trust the specs that you give out, when on your official page are wrong or even worse misleading.
Well writing rants will not fix the problem, so is there a beta firmware that the client can load or he has to buy something else?

Hi Alx,
Yes, there has been a beta firmware which support EXP38. Since R&D all get off work now(Chinese time 22:00) I am not quite sure the firmware version. Please have a try of this:
ftp://yealinkftp:yealinkftp@ftp.yealink.com/firmware/46.80.254.28.rom
If it doesn't work I will confirm the frimware version tomorrow.
