T48G BLF without direct call pickup - SnakeBiteWilly - 04-22-2015 12:02 AM

Our BLF fields work as far as showing extension status goes; however, when the button is pressed it will pick up the line if it is ringing even though directed call pickup is set to disabled. We want the BLF to function as a BLF WITHOUT call pickup. Has anyone run into this situation or know how to achieve this level of functionality?UndecidedUndecided

Hi,

Do you fill a value in extension filed when configuring BLF?
If yes, you can delete it and check again.

Yes we place the value of the extension in the value field. So for example we have line key 1 set to extension 123, line key 2 set to extension 456 and line key 3 set to extension 789. If a call comes in for 789, the people at 123 and 456 can both see that the extension is ringing and if they click line button 3 they will pick up the incoming call. I want my users to see that it is ringing and that extension 789 is busy but NOT be able to pick up the call. I will try removing the extension value from each BLF key but how will the system know to monitor extensions 123, 456 and 789?
