Robotic sound - Lee-Dreyer - 04-18-2013 01:34 PM

Have a T22P and VP530 when we connect the phones to the ISP, make call we get robotic sound both directions, if we use another ISP no problem.

We have nearly tried every thing, any suggestion to this issue?

Hi Lee,
What do you mean by "robotic sound"? Is it like someone press the button on the phone?
Could you check does your issue is similar with this post?

If yes, could you try to change the DTMF type in the phone(In the phone webpage-Account-Advanced- DTMF Type)? Maybe these two ISP have different DTMF type.

Hi,

Have read this post, but this is not the issue.
The issue is when you make a call the voice of the person is sound like a robot, and it is in both directions.
And as mention earlier the problem is with one ISP, if we use another ISP no issue.
We are still connecting to the same SIP-account.

Hi Kim,
1. Do you mean the voice is intermittent? Like a robot? And it happened both with handset and speakerphone?
2. What's the firmware you used on T22P now? Could you upgrade to our latest firmware 7.70.0.140 and check again?

3. If the problem is still, could you provide PCAP trace, syslog(level 6) and config.bin file to us, so we can analyze?
Before you export the syslog, please set log level as 6, and reboot the phone, then click Start, and reproduce the issue, then click Stop, and export the trace, syslog, config, bin to us.
Thanks.
