Did upgrade to try an fix daylight savings time issue... which it fixed! but NOW have annoying flashing light too! Prefer the wrong time! LOL
When is the next firmware release due?

Its a small issue but can we fix this, "account.1.label =" should act as the label for what would be "linekey.1.label =" only. It does this, but unlike other model Yealinks, it also acts as the display name (account.1.display_name =). Currently configuring "account.1.display_name =" does nothing and its been this way for a long time.

Problems like this should be addressed immediately upon notification, especially since the unwanted Power LED flashing is so visible and so obvious. Under normal quality control conditions, alpha or beta testers would have identified and sought correction of the issue before release.
The fact that the behavior has persisted for more than three weeks now since the firmware's availability, despite user complaints, suggests that the company is either not paying attention or simply doesn't care about the customer's frustrations.

Thx for the quick test. So i will wait with the update
and hope, they will fix the Problem soon and permanently with next Version. I downgraded to 28.80... for now.@ yealink Support: would be nice from yealink to publish a changelog even for minor Firmware updates.

Any idea when this will get fixed on the T48G?
It's really annoying. I guess one method of fixing it is to put black electrical tape over the light but we shouldn't have to do that.

This has long been an issue with Yealink, and one that they need to address as a priority.
The "Google" approach (write it, throw it out there, and let the users debug it) is not acceptable with firmware updates.
