802.1 x Mode Problem - Digicel AFG - 03-06-2015 03:53 AM

Hello,

We encounter a problem when configuring 802.1x on network advanced level.

On the IP phone T32G and T28G the only 802.1x mode available is: EAP-MD5

This mode is unfortunately not compatible with your network.

In fact we use PEAP-MSCHAPv2 802.1x mode with CA certificates.

Failure to use this mode phones does not allow us to use on our network.

Is there a new frimware or new version of software that would allow us to solve this problem?

For the moment, we have for T38G:

- Frimware Version : 38.70.1.33

- Hardware Version : 21.3.4.160.64.0.0

For the moment, we have for T32G:

- Frimware Version : 32.70.0.185

- Hardware Version : 22.1.2.32.0.0.0

Regards.

Digicel AFG

Sorry, T32/T38 only support EAP-MD5.
T4x series can support PEAP-MSCHAPv2 mode.

Regards,
James

Sorry to bump an old thread, but will the T3x series ever support PEAP-MSCHAPv2, or is this series not seeing new firmware?
