I have a T42g and an EHS36 using a Savi 710 head set.
EHS hardware: 48.0.0.0
EHS firmware: 1.16.0.0
T42G firmware: 29.72.0.1
T42G hardware: 29.1.0.0.0.0
I have the EHS36 connected with the RJ12 to the phone and the 3.5mm to the savi.
The phone will see the headset and when I press the button on the phone to get a line out it does.
But I don’t hear anything. No sound at all on my end or the other end.
How do I fix this.

Is the Plantronics cable connected from Plantronics to the Headset jack on the T42?

You should upgrade your EHS firmware.
EHS firmware: 1.16.0.0
Current Is 3.16 ;-)
