LDAP Directory doesn't show complete list - P_Hackert - 10-27-2016 02:45 PM

Hey there,

We've set up our new Phone-system with Yealink T41p,T46g and T48g phones.

We also added the LDAP (MS AD) as phone directory to the phones.
So far so good. But now, we encountered a bad behaviour. The phones doesn't show us all entrys they're able to find in the LDAP matching the criteria in the settings.

Well, as soon as we search for one specific they will find and show it, but, the List which is shown, when you enter the directory on the phone display, cuts out 20 to 40 entrys (we've set the max results already to 20k but still missing those entries)

Do you have any hint for us?

We want to just show the "displayName" and "ipPhone Number" in this list.
here are our Settings

LDAP Name Filter: (|(givenName=%)(displayName=%)(sn=%)(telephoneNumber=%))
LDAP Number Filter: (|(telephoneNumber=%)(mobile=%)(ipPhone=%))
LDAP TLS Mode: LDAP
Server Address: [IP]
Port: 389
base: dc=[DOMAIN],dc=[TLD]
User: [USERNAME]
Password: [SECRET]
Max Hits: 5000
LDAP Name Attributes: displayName
LDAP Number Attributes: ipPhone
LDAP Display Name: %displayName
Protocol: Version3
LDAP Lookup for incoming Call: Disabled
LDAP Lookup for Callout: Enabled
LDAP Sorting Results: Enabled

All entries have been created the same way on the AD. Nothing is different eccept the Names and Numbers Wink

Dear sir

This is Quinlan from yealink.
For this case, could you help collect packet capture to us analysis? you can refer to following link: http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=313

In fact, we figured out, that it seems to be impossible for the phone to start the search in the Domain-root DIR.

So we moved all necessary information into a smaller OU.
We changed the BASE Setting to that OU. e.g. ou=phonebook,dc=[domain],dc=[TLD]

that works now for us.

obviously there are too many objects that disturbes the search maybe.

But thank you for your assistance.
