DECT Phone BLF's - CWR - 02-11-2015 05:38 AM It would be nice to extend the phone just a bit and have room for 3 BLF buttons - to be used as Speed Dials, or Park Spots, or Paging key. Who else would like some BLF's? RE: DECT Phone BLF's - elementpbx - 02-11-2015 06:34 AM Yes. I sent this feature request last year. RE: DECT Phone BLF's - James_Yealink - 02-11-2015 09:55 AM If we support this feature by hard key, but it don't have lamp to reminder, is it OK ? RE: DECT Phone BLF's - CWR - 02-11-2015 10:00 AM I think just having them would be an improvement even if they didn't have LEDs. RE: DECT Phone BLF's - jcaruso - 10-26-2015 09:36 PM Oh man this would be great. And yes Yealink_James, if the only option is hard key with no lamp then that would be acceptable. RE: DECT Phone BLF's - Scottie - 05-27-2023 11:55 AM Old thread but was thinking about this and did a search and this came up. Not sure if the LED's behind the keypad are individually controlled, if they are or could be in the future, you could use them as like a DSSKEY with long press instead of speed dial and have them react to BLF, so you could setup key 1,2,3 as Park's with long press to interact with, as really need a good way to do park's from the DECT units RE: DECT Phone BLF's - Yisroel_MongoTEL - 05-30-2023 12:34 AM On a side note, the LINKVIL by Fanvil W611W Portable WiFi Phone supports BLF, they have it on a 2nd home screen. I have been on the fence about wi-fi based phones, for all the T5xW's I have tried on wi-fi as a stop gap while waiting for cable network, It has not gone smooth, with a good wi-fi network.... I would think there would be a lot of variables at play with wi-fi, I can see why they are still doing DECT so they can control that aspect... just need BLF's some how and it will be great. |
