"Instant" Intercom? - butrus - 02-10-2015 10:35 PM

Hi!

Would it be possible to have yet another DSS key type - which I would call "Instant Intercom" where the call would last only as long as the key is pressed? (Now you have to press the key once to start the "call" and then press it again to terminate it).

I suppose this should be pretty easy to implement.

Thanks!

Hi, do you mean these process:

1. Click the dsskey to establish a call.
2. Users should press on the dsskey and speak.
3. When the dsskey is not pressed on, the call is active but no voice can be transmitted.
4. Click the dsskey again to end a call?

If yes, may I know why do you need the feature? Where can it be used to.

Regards,
James

Sounds like he wants "press and talk" like an old style intercom...

No, I meant this:

1. Press the dsskey down AND HOLD DOWN (the call gets established instantly)
2. Talk
3. Release the dsskey (the call gets terminated)

In the current situation you have to press the dsskey twice just to say a couple of words and this can really be annoying.

Thank you!
Petr
