BLF/MWI key for shared voicemail box - Jordan - 04-05-2013 01:21 PM We have an Asterisk 11.1.2/FreePBX 2.11.0.0beta2.8 system running a combination of T28 and T38 handsets. We have all the key functions, handset BLF's, Park BLF's, attended transfer via DSS, Call Flow Control with BLF status, etc working. What I am trying to achieve is getting a DSS key to monitor a shared mailbox on a virtual extension to light up as MWI when there are messages to checked. When pressed the key logs in to the appropriate mailbox but I have not been able to get a BLF to light up on a new messages, my present DSS key configuration is as follows: Type=BLF Value=*98299 Line=Line1 Ext=299 I have also tried: Type=Voicemail Value=*98299 Which logins in to the appropriate mailbox when pressed but does not give BLF and: Type=Voicemail Value=299 Does not log in to mail, only plays the greeting and takes a message. Is there a setting I am overlooking in the handsets or in asterisk to enable MWI monitoring? Thanks, Jordan.
