Dear Sylviog,

Please successfully configure the network setting at first.
Then register your phone. After that, the phone is worked.

1. To make your phone work, we should have a PBX(a software in your local pc or a server in your server provider) which provide account for phone.
Then make sure the 2 phone and the PBX are connectable, and register.

2.About “Server Host”, please make sure “Static IP 192.168.1.192” be able to connect to “Server Host 192.168.1.1”.
If you want make your notebook as your PBX server, the server host is the ip of your notebook.
Otherwise, please ask your network administrator.

3.About register.
Register name, Password and Server Host is provided by your service provider or your PBX administrator.
Please ask them to give you these information.

For more information, please refer page 4 of our Quick Start Guide of our website.

By the way, I have reply your mail (you sent to Yealink Support) early, it seems like you did’t received it, please help to check your mail inbox.
If there is any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by Forum or mail.

Thank you.
Best Regards
Daniel

You must install a software to create a voip server on our server?

What they are saying is you need a PBX to register to.
What PBS is running on the Laptop that you are trying to connect to?
The PBX Provides the credentials for the phone.

Dear craigreilly, thaks

No. I only have network connection, voip phones and internet access . Our pbx is not connected to the network.

I believe so I need a voip system installed on my notebook. Correct?

RE: SIP-T20P: Register Failedand and no Call - CWR - 01-13-2015 02:28 AM

Yes.
For testing, I can recommend 3cx. It supports Yealink, works on Windows, and has a DEMO Mode as well as a FREE VERSION which allows max 2 calls at same time.
Grandstream makes an appliance called a UCM6100 (4 different models here).

There is also many others that works on Linux that I can not comment about as I have no experience using them.

Dear craigreilly,

Sorry, but:
We installed 3CX Phone System successfully initially including 2 Voip phones " 500 and 501" . In the configuration of Yealink T20, in account , SIP Server 1 , Server Host , I am using the ip of one of the two notebooks " 192.168.1.46 " where is installed 3CX . Is that correct?
Again : 501@192.168.1.46 : Register Failed.
What did might be happening?

Regards,
Sylvio

IS the widows firewall on or off?
The firewall would be blocking 5060 Sip registration.
If possible, also put the laptop on a fixed ip...
3cx can provision the phones automatically if they can see each other.

And I think you mean you added 2 extensions - 500 and 501. The phones are Yealink T20's (Endpoints).

Touché my friend. The firewell was blocking the 5060. You got it right. All working ok.

the other branch the server is connected with the here and the gateway is 192.168.1.6. If I plug one of the two phones in the branch office , will work without changes. Is that correct?
Thanks again .

Dear Sylvio,

Could you please tell me some details of the problem ? Then I will help you to fix it.
What do you mean about work without change if you plug one of the two phones in the branch office ?

Thank you.
Daniel
