Secondary dialtone - bascheew - 12-30-2014 02:57 AM

Is there a way to have a secondary dialtone in the dial plan? This is a common feature on PBXs and I'm surprised that I can't find any documentation about this anywhere. When a user dials a prefix that will get them an outside line we need to provide an outside dialtone (or secondary dial tone) to the user so that they are prompted to dial the number.

I have read through the dialplan FAQ and there is nothing there that mentions this.

Hi Bascheew,

You can configure a redial tone under Feature-> Audio interface.
After inputing a pre-defined number phone will ring second dialtone.
