T46G and SNMP - bman - 12-07-2014 09:56 PM

According to the documentation, the T46G supports SNMP, however I do not see this option under Network/Advanced. I'm running firmware version 28.72.0.45.

Hi Bman,

What's the documentation you read? The latest doc should not list this feature.

Since the SNMP feature can do a very limit thing it has been removed. We recommend using TR069 which supports monitoring much phone status and configuring almost all of phone setting to achieve a central management

James

okay, I see now. I had v71 documentation. The documentation page is misleading though because the SNMP guide is in the list of Documents(item 12) for the T46G on the following page: http://www.yealink.com/SupportDownloadfiles_detail.aspx?CateId=310&flag=142

thanks.
