T38G transfer failed to an other phone or PSTN - Digicel AFG - 12-02-2014 10:51 PM

hello,

We encounter a serious problem for Transfer Call on your Yealink T38G phones to other phones:

- Yealink T42G
- Yealink T46G
- Linksys SPA962

We use the following version of frimware:

- T38G: 38.70.1.33

- T42G: 29.72.0.55

- T46G: 28.72.0.45

The problem is:

When an external call is received (ex. 0921) and we try to transfer the call to another extensions (ex. 0924) or PSTN (ex. mobile phone) by dialing Transfer-"the number need"-Transfer, extension 0924 hears the ring but when she answers the call she hears the voice of 70921, not the outside caller. The outside caller hears MOH.
The display of 0921 shows "transfer failed" and the call is still on hold.

We have the same problem with all the yealink phone (T38G, T42G, T46G), we use France Tones on the phones.

We use BroadSoft 18.sp1 system.

Please help us.

Hi Digicel,

Please make sure that you have set the Server Type to Broadsoft under Account-> Advanced interface.

To T42G and T46G you can upgrade to Broadsoft firmware which can be downloaded by this link:

If the problem persist can you get a pcap trace, level 6 syslog and config.bin file for an analysis? Below post describe how to get them.

Hi James,

Please make sure that you have set the Server Type to Broadsoft under Account-> Advanced interface.

==> The Sip Server type configured is BroadSoft for all Yealink Phone

To T42G and T46G you can upgrade to Broadsoft firmware which can be downloaded by this link:

==> We proceeded to update.

If the problem persist can you get a pcap trace, level 6 syslog and config.bin file for an analysis?

Hi James,

We add an other pcap trace on the T38G [attachment=1206].

We change some configurations on your acme packet sbc, but the transfer sill not works.
