Ethernet Cord Length - elementpbx - 03-05-2013 02:52 PM

The ethernet cables shipping are 5ft. Thats way too short I need to replace almost every cable to at least 6ft. a 10ft cable would help so much and the cost difference is pennies.

Please take this under consideration. I know I'm not the only one that has complained. Aastra and Polycom have longer cables too.

I agree 5 ft is definitely too short a 7 would be better and a 10 ft would be great.

In more than 90% of my installation here, the short cord was fine to go from Phone-Thru to Computer. then the cable that was on back of computer to wall now goes to phone.

Yes, sometimes it would be nice for longer... Perhaps it should be an option, like the Power Supply should be. I have a box of 50 T38 power supplies sitting around. Smile
