W52P - Call Waiting tone - mkeuter - 09-25-2014 12:51 AM

On my W52P FW: 25.73.0.20 Handset FW: 26.73.0.10 I get a very loud tone when a second call comes in (which gets repeated over and over again until you hangup), although "Call Waiting" and "Call Waiting Tone" is disabled in Phone/Features.

The tone sounds like this: http://www.yourhomenow.com/sound/sit-tone.wav

Update: I found out it is only happening when another external call comes in and Asterisk is sending an additional SIP header
Code:
SIPAddHeader("Alert-Info:<http://www.notused.com>;info=line2;x-line-id=0")

which is used for the desktop phones to play a different ringtone depending on the header. I didn't had this behavior in older firmwares.

Hi Mkeuter,

Do you mean that the problem happens only when you upgrade to V73?

And if a first call come with the Alert-info will handset play this loud tone or it only occurs in second call?
Can you please get a pcap trace and level 6 syslog about this problem?
