Speed dial Key - SoundLine - 09-12-2014 04:00 AM
I have noticed that the speed dial key allows transfer. Everything I read says that it shouldn't. Is there a different key I should be using instead of speaddial to only dial the number not transfer to it?

Hi,
I got your mail, don't worry.
You may set up the transfer mode to the blind transfer.
To solve this issue you can via the web.
Here is the path :feature->transfer->Transfer Mode Via Dsskey
Set up as the following that the speed dial will only to dial the number.

Thanks for that Jim that fixed it. My last question is can you tell me what the function is in the provisioning guide? There are a couple and I'm not exactly sure which one it is.

Given below is the configuration parameters:

##It configures the DSS key behavior during an active call when user presses the DSS
##key and the DSS key is configured as a speed dial, transfer or BLF/BLF list key.
##0-New Call,1-Attended Transfer,2-Blind Transfer.
##The default value is 2.
transfer.dsskey_deal_type = 0
