Yealink T22P new call issue - Asterisk - 09-10-2014 04:17 PM

Hi,

I have encountered a problem with T22P phone. The issue is as follows.
1. T22p gets incoming call and answers.
2. Puts the call on hold (so far so good)
3. T22p user presses new call button and types new number on the same line.
4. Gets "unknown url scheme" on the screen. No invite goes from the phone.

I cant get to figure this out. I went through all the settings and could not find any related feature.

firmware of the phone is 7.72.0.75

i would appreciate some advice..

Hi Dragan,

Have you meet this problem before in this T22P phone? Or it has this problem since you purchased this phone?
The first call is IP call , then make a new call to a extension or a invalid ip address.
If your scenario is like I mentioned, please register a valid SIP account and make a new call to another valid account which is in the same PBX server.

This is a first time to encounter with this problem. The phone is registered on a pbx. There is only 1 account regi stered, other accounts are not. i have allowed the phone to have two simultaneous calls on one sip account. I don't think you understood my problem. The problem i mentioned is as follows by steps:

1 scenario: this works:
A(t22p) makes a call to B, B answers, everything ok
A presses hold, B gets music on hold. OK
A presses "new call" button and types new number
A presses "send". The second call on the same account is made successfully.

2 scenario : this does not work!

B makes a call to A(t22p), A(t22p) answers, everything ok
A presses hold, B gets music on hold. OK
A presses "new call" button and types new number
A presses "send". "Unknown url scheme" is printed on the screen.

I hope now you understand my problem. I can send you log from the phone.

Hi Dragan,
Thanks for your detailed describe.
I have upgraded firmware version to7.72.0.75 and tested it with your scenario. It does work well.
Please try below steps:
1. Reset the phone to factory.
2. Check your PBX server whether set some parameter before.
3. Upgrade the firmware to V73 Beta version and try again. You can get the V73 Beta version frimware from this Announcement.

Any result, please let me know.
