Hi We have just replaced T28P's with T38G phones and experiencing the following issues:

Echo in calls
Phones lag, unresponsive
Dropped calls on transfer

A reboot seems to fix it temporarily but in an office environment this isn't an ideal work around.

The phones are;
Firmware Version 38.70.0.125
Hardware Version 21.5.5.160.64.0.0

I have tried to download the rom offered in another thread but it keeps timing out.

Any suggestions?

Hi Jadzia,

The problem only occurs after phone running for some time? How many T38 have the problem?

Please upgrade phone to .185 firmware, then reset it and check again.

All 6 phones we purchased have exhibited issues, I have upgraded three now and it has resolved that issue so I will upgrade the rest. I was unable to download the rom, but have since discovered the download only works in IE and not any other browser!

I have problem with Session timers on t38G. I use the configuration below, but T38G isn't sending Re-Invite or Update.

account.1.session_timer.enable = 1
account.1.session_timer.expires = 180
account.1.session_timer.refresher = 0

I use firmware 38.70.1.33
