RECORD call on programmable soft keys - alexgonzalez - 08-19-2014 11:18 PM

On the T46G, does anyone know of a way to put the RECORD function on a programmable softkey, so that it's there while you are in a call? Currently I have it taking up a DSS Line Key when it doesn't need to be there. I can put it in the programmable key, but when you are in a call, its not there to select, as what is there is the HOLD, TRANSFER, END CALL and CONFERENCE. Any ideas from anyone?

Thanks.

I am also interested in having the RECORD button on the soft keys. This method is used by many hosted PBX providers.

Dear,
Yealink phones do not support setting Record on softkeys at the moment. But your kindly suggestion has been recorded and submited to our Product Development department. We will evaluate this requirement. Once passed, this feature will be added on new firmware. Please stay tuned.
