BLF Subscription fails to re authenticate - jkeenan@launtel.net.au - 08-31-2016 12:20 PM

Hi There,

Fault: BLF fails to re-subscribe after some network outage conditions.
Phone: T41P
Server: Asterisk 13.7.2

I have attached an export from the phone during the fault conditions. You can see in the packet capture that phone tries to subscribe and the server responds with a SIP 401 Unauthorized and a new nonce. The phone fails to re-authenticate.

Is there a setting I need to change? This seems like a bug to me.

Cheers
Jim

Hi,

I check the file. When the phone send first SUBSCRIBE message, the server replay the 401.
But then the phone send SUBSCRIBE again, the server replay 200OK and NOTIFY message.
The process is normally and the phone get the NOTIFY finally.

So I have got another failure.
Here is another capture of the fault occurring. This time there is no subscription. We did have BLF Subsription time set to 1800 and I set it to 30sec prior to taking the capture.
I am pretty sure I can't see the subscription packets.
