Remote phonebook T48G - zorci - 08-06-2014 11:26 PM

I have made a xml-file which look like this:

Quote:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<YealinkIPPhoneDirectory
defaultIndex="1"
next="http://IP/xmlBrowser/TestExecute.xml"
previous="http://IP/Formatted.xml"
Beep="yes"
cancelAction="http://IP/xmlBrowser/Testmenu.xml"
Timeout="50"
LockIn="no">

<!--<Title wrap="yes">Remote Directory This interface is used to test 23423 4324524 hght dfsdf dsdfsdf asda </Title>-->

<MenuItem>
<Prompt>John</Prompt>
<URI> 10.3.5.219</URI>
</MenuItem>

<MenuItem>
<Prompt>Doe</Prompt>
<URI>4326</URI>
</MenuItem>

<!--
<SoftKey index="1">
<Label>Dial</Label>
<URI>SoftKey:Dial</URI>
</SoftKey>

<SoftKey index="4">
<Label>exit</Label>
<URI>SoftKey:Exit</URI>
</SoftKey>
-->
</YealinkIPPhoneDirectory>

But the phone won't read the phonebook.

I am running the phonebook on a IIS and I have checked that the URL I have provided for the phone, is indeed correct. I can access the URL in a webbrowser. The URL is something like this:

Quote:http://server10/phone.xml

I have tried UTF-8 encoding and ANSI.

Can someone help me? Maybe send me a xml-document with a phonebook that works.

Hi Zorci,

I have attached Remote Phone template , pls check it whether can work or not.
And you can lookup the chapter of “Remopte Phone Book” in admin guide for detail.

admin guide

P.S:There is a software to generate Phone book automatically.You can get it from attachment.

Thanks.

Hi.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Unfortunately the files won't work. I tried to place them on my server for remote access through HTTP. And I tried to upload them in Local Directory. I tried all 3 example files you gave me.

When trying to access through HTTP, I get the error message on the phone: "Can't open". And when I try to upload the file to Local Directory it says: "Error:Invalid file!".

Do you have any idea what happens?

Thanks in advance.

Z

Hi Zorci,

I am afraid for my vague understanding.
The question you have mentioned is "Remote phonebook T48G".So the template files T given to you is for "Remote phonebook" rather than "Local phonebook".
I have tested in my side ,and found it uploaded successfully.

If you want to upload the local directory.You can use "YealinkPhonebookGenerationTool" to generate Local phonebook or Remote phonebook automatically.(In above attachment)
And upload the file to Local Directory.

Hi again.

Yes, it is correct. I would like to place the file somewhere on a web server and access it remotely from the phone. But it won't work for me.

I have added the XML file you provided me, on a web server. I then take my browser and type the URL. And I can see, that the XML file is displyed correctly. Then I copy/paste the URL and add it to the telephone through the web interface. Then - on the phone - I navigate to the phonebook and see the new remote phonebook that I added. When clicking on that phonebook, the telphone says: "Can't open".

Regarding the Local Phonebook, as I wrote about... I just tried to upload the XML-file to the local phonebook. Just to see if that worked. But it did not work either, with you XML file. The web interface (where I uploaded it from) said: "Wrong format". So the upload to local phonebook was just to see, if that worked or not.

Hi Zorci,

Maybe there are two points what we need check.
1 - What kind of web server do you use? HTTP server or other.
2 - The connectivity between Phone and Server.Are they reachable?
In order to solve the issue as soon as posible,could you pls show the screenshots which contain main operations as I offered you .

Thanks

RE: Remote phonebook T48G - zorci - 08-21-2014 09:15 PM

Hi again.

I tried to set the loglevel to 6, and tried to connect to the XML file on my webserver. The result in the errorlog is as follows:

Quote:Aug 21 13:10:02 GUI [293]: TASK<6+info >Http download file: 'http://server01:8080/department.xml' start.
Aug 21 13:10:03 GUI [293]: TASK<6+info >dl_http_recv_to_file err! ret_response = -1, Wrong host
Aug 21 13:10:03 GUI [293]: TASK<6+info >download Fail
Aug 21 13:10:03 GUI [293]: TASK<6+info >TaskAction: Send message to call back base.
Aug 21 13:10:03 GUI [293]: TASK<6+info >TaskAction: Send message to calling thread.[0x4003492c]
Aug 21 13:10:03 GUI [293]: TASK<6+info >TaskAction: Begin to Call back!
Aug 21 13:10:03 GUI [293]: DIR <6+info >Remote contact model: begin to deal with the download result.
Aug 21 13:10:03 GUI [293]: TASK<6+info >chObject, try to release 0x9d4b8, refer count is 2
Aug 21 13:10:03 GUI [293]: TASK<6+info >chObject, try to release 0x9d4b8, refer count is 1
Aug 21 13:10:03 GUI [293]: TASK<6+info >chObject, delete object 0x9d4b8

The URL (http://server01:8080/department.xml) are accesible from a browser. When I type that in a browser, I get the XML document without any problems.

Do you wan't me to send the whole errorlog file?

Regards,
Kim Terp (zorcione)

I have now tried to install Apache Webserver 2.2.25.

It still works in a browser, but the phone still can't access the document.

I have attached a screenshot from my web browser, showing the file.

[attachment=931]

This is the response on my phone. (See attachement).

The language are danish and says: "Kan ikke åbne" which means: "Can not open".
