Good afternoon,

I recently added some Yealink T26P phones to a Canadian RingCentral account and the phones have been experiencing a problem I never had in the past.

They have a beeping sound when on a live call at 0 second, 15 seconds, 30 seconds and every 15 seconds after that.

I have a mix of Firmware 6.60.0.140 and 6.60.0.100 on these phones and am wondering if any of you would know how to solve this issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I found your phone firmware version is too old.
I suggest that you upgrade the firmware firstly and try again.

You can get the latest version firmware of T26 from here. >>6.72.0.30<<

Hi,

I tried doing this but the new firmware didn't change the beeping noise.

Any other possible solutions you can think of?

Hi oragroup,
Please confirm your firmware whether is the latest version, you can see it via pressing the OK button.
It is so strange. We haven't met this issue ever.
1.Will the beep noise influence the normal call?
2.It will ring one time or two time or unremitting?
3.How about using speaker phone when you receive a call? Does it have this issue?
4.You mentioned you have serveral T26 phone, do all phones have this issue? Or only one phone?

Hi,

The firmware version is 6.72.0.30. The beeping noise happens every 15 seconds and can be heard on both ends of the call.

Its always a single beep.

The same issue happens when using speaker phone

Only 5 of these phones are doing this and I have over 100 of these. Those 5 phones are on a separate RingCentral account than the other 100.

Thank you for your help! I can't wait to be able to fix this as it is throwing people off.

please try below steps:
Access to web GUI->Account->Advanced. Disable the Subscribe for MWI and Subscribe MWI To Voice Mail. Or set the MWI Subscription Period(Seconds) value to 3600. Like below picture.
