Provisioning periodic minutes - tomp - 02-01-2013 02:02 AM

Hi,

I am trying to use the V70 provisioning with the T38G phone with firmware version 38.70.23.4 and hardware version 21.3.4.160.64.0.0.

The documentation says that to change the periodic minutes by provisioning we should use:

auto_provision.schedule.periodic_minute = 60

However this doesn't change the value on the phone's interface.

what is wrong?

Hi,
The syntax you use is for the T2X phone, if you want to configure the periodic minutes for T38, the syntax should be auto_provision.repeat.minutes = 60
for more detals, you can refer to the auto provision file" Yealink T2XP-T3XG-VP530 phones Auto Provisioning User Guide Rev_70.0" which you can download from below link,

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

The document you mention does not contain the variable you said, I used the links from yeahlink.co.uk

http://www.yealink.co.uk/technical-instructions/

This ZIP file was labelled as for T3x phones

http://www.yealink.co.uk/assets/V70-Documents/Auto%20P%20T2x,T3x,VP530%20-%20V70.zip

In it there is an example file called Common.cfg, which contains the lines:

#Configure the interval (in minutes) for the phone to check new configuration files. It ranges from 1 to 43200, the default value is 1440.
#It is only applicable to "Repeatedly" and "Power on + Repeatedly" modes.
auto_provision.schedule.periodic_minute =

It looks like the documentation is incorrect.

Is there an accurate document containing the V70 options available for the T38 phone?

Thanks
Tom

Also, the document you linked to also contains the inaccurate variable:

auto_provision.schedule.periodic_minute =
