With beta fw, dialog info BLF pickup works. Phone now sends proper INVITE with Replaces header when I press the BLF button and picks the call up.

When the Visual Alert for BLF pickup is enabled, and I press Pickup soft key, it doesn't work. Same as before, call is sent to wrong URI and there's no INVITE with Replaces header.

Any chance to fix this behaviour?

Regards,
Ognjen

Hi sekil75,

I have tested it in my side, it can work. Did you set the pickup code into your phone? Just like below picyure, if you don't know your pickup code, please ask your pbx server provider for help.

And my scenario is like below,
1. C set a BLF key to monitor B,
2. A call B, B ringing. The BLF of C is flash and popup the dialog.
3. C press the BLF button to pickup the B.

Please try above steps
thanks

That's the idea, there's no PBX involved. I'm using a proxy so the phones are one that are "picking" the call up with INVITE and Replaces header and spiral tags. Phone should SUBSCRIBE to a callee uri then do an INVITE to a caller with Replaces, This is the way pickup is enabled with BLF button to a user in beta fw. It just doesn't work with directed pickup.

Please look at RFC 5359 at http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5359#page-147 for a proper call flow.

AFAIK directed Call Pickup should be use with a PBX. That's what the Pickup Code is for.

I just enabled "Dialog Info Call Pickup". And I left Directed Call Pickup untouched.

One can use Directed Pickup like with Cisco/Linksys phones according to SIP-B (now RFC5359) standard. It's essentialy a subscribe to a phone with notify bringing back the dialog info, to where INVITE with Replaces header occurs.
Any how, I will try what you said.
