+1 for T46G - making sure this issue stays fresh. It's a definite need - Q3 2016 and still no movement on this? Chop chop!

I agree we need P (pause) or D (Delay)

Not everything that is called from a Yealink Phone is VOIP.

... Wow, what? We just bought five new T46Gs, and this (among other things) is incredibly disappointing. Between that and our 3CX gimping operations by being just unnecessarily simple, I desperately miss my old job's Asterisk and Aastras.

I concur that this is an exceedingly basic feature. As long as the system is capable of sending DTMF, there is still cause to have pause and delay available. Additionally, this should seemingly be a fairly simple programming matter that should have been sorted out... two years ago, apparently, from the age of this thread.

Usage example: We use 3CX. We have a shared mailbox at x000. There is no phone for this extension. Essentially, I was going to program a speed dial key with 999,#000,1234# to log straight in to the shared mailbox with one key. You know, like I could on my old (but still IP, mind you) Aastra 53i phones.

Between these things and 3CX, I'm baffled that the makers don't seem to START with an EXISTING work flow and work from there. The phone and system should be able to do everything that our crappy old Merlins and the like could, to be sure. I daresay this is not a feature one is likely to research about a device before buying, either. It's just expected, a trivial thing all digital phones can do, at least to me.

I need this feature too, on my three T46G and my T42G.

Yealink is unreachble, try again later...

To be serious, is there anything we (Yealink customers) can do about it?

I'm also waiting on this feature but for the T46G, V81 firmware has been released but I couldn't see anything in the release notes about this.

Dear All

Our phone support the delay/pause feature, we call EDK feature. But the feature only can be supported on V81 firmware. So please upgrade the phone to the new firmware, then you can use the EDK feature.

I upload the FAQ to the FTP, you can download the FAQ and test with the EDK feature.
