Hide Reject Anonymous call menu - - 07-04-2014 01:59 AM

There is any way to hide reject anonymous call menu?
My provider does not have this service, so I don't want users of this phone see this option.
I know that this feature could be managed locally, but if I use it that way is not possible to send anonymous call code to the network.

Thank you for your support!

Hi ammcosta,

Sorry, currently our phones don't support it.
Could you tell me what is the effect of it on the use of the phone?

thanks

In practice the only annoying thing is that for the user the "reject anonymous calls" feature is active when he checks the status but in fact is not.
Since this could result in complains I would like to hide.

Hi ammcosta,

Sorry for the inconvenience.
But our phone don't support hide the "reject anonymous calls" feature on the GUI.
You should inform your user the pbx server doesn't support it. They can understand you.

thanks

Hi,

Yealink could implement a config variable to manage those 2 features independently. Variable could indicate if feature is managed on the phone or in the platform.

Hi ammcosta,

Sorry for my mistake. You can hide the entire "anonymous" menu via auto provisioning. And the phone will enable the 3-level permissions.
The autop setence is as below:
Code:
#!version:1.0.0.1
web_item_level.url =http://your HTTP server address/WebItemsLevel.cfg
security.var_enable = 1
For how to do autop, please refer to the guide.

guide

I will attach the WebItemsLevel.cfg to you. please check it.
If it can't work in your side, pleae tell me what is firmware and model of the phone?

thanks

From the tests I did it works perfectly on the WebUI of the phone.
On the Phone UI itself it has a strange behavior some menus are Hiden as expected but others, that should also be hiden, are visible. Some menu have different language after I activate security, I'm using Portuguese language and after that some menus are in English.

One thing that I was trying was hide forward code using this:
always-forward = 0
always-forward-enabled = 0
always-forward-target = 0
always-forward-OnCode = 2
always-forward-OffCode = 2

But OnCode and OffCode are still visible on phone menu.
Am I doing something wrong or this is supposed to work only in the WebUI?

Thank You for your help!

May I check with you that if you want to hide "forward code" in HANDSET LCD or in web interface?
As the syntaxes you have posted ,is just for web interface.
And sorry that there is no corresponding syntaxes to hide "forward code" in HANDSET LCD so far.

Thx

Hi,

thank you for your support, yes I was trying to hide menu on the Handset LCD. I'm planning this to avoid users to change preconfigured codes and get feature unusable.

Many thanks
