Yealink SIP T20P Time Problem - meymetkaplan - 01-25-2013 06:40 PM

Hi All,

We have almost 70 sip phones. All phones connected to gateway and have staticly ip address. So, phones can be connect to internet.

Some phones's time is correct but some phones's time is incorrect.

I changed time zone, i changed ntp server, i changed everything but still incorrect. And i upgraded firmwares. How can i fix this?

Hi,
Please help to make below items clear for us.
1. which firmware you use ? if not the latest phone, please upgrade it to the latest version 9.70.0.130.

2. Could you please go to web UI to check if all the NTP servers are the same in all the phone ?

3. Could you please get the PCAP trace to see if the ntp server has response to the phone request about the time and date?

1-Doesn't matter. I tried on different firmwares but still wrong date\time.
2-Yes, i did it.
3. Actually, some phones working, some phones doesn't work. But, i'll try trace. Can u suggest any sniffer?


I tested with two phones. Phone's firmwares are 9.70.0.130
One phone's hardware version 7.0.0.55
Other's 7.0.0.54.

Others settings are the same.
